Snowshoeing

Brian and I went Snowshoeing today at a trail up past Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. It was really great, the snow was pretty deep and not too compacted but enough to make it easy to walk. The trail was uphill with switchbacks. We only went for about and hour and a half but it was really fun. We plan on going next weekend with some more people.

Here is a map of the trail we went on. It is at the parking lot at the end of the road. It was about 1.5 miles round trip.

did you finish your snow pants and wear them today? Sorry we never got to fit in snowshoeing here. We may need those snowshoes next week. We are supposed to get 8-10 inches of snow Wednesday or Thursday.
